Created in 1972, the Cave des Clairmonts resulted from the union
of three families of wine-growers who wanted to combine their passion
for the vineyards and the wine.
The generations succeeded each other and the families grew but the
rigour and the passion that our elders passed on to us have remained.
Today, the winery regroups six families who cultivate a hundred
hectares spread over 5 of the 11 communes of the AOC CROZES-HERMITAGE.
Two small vineyards planted on the extremity of the appellation
producing Vin de Pays de la Drôme using syrah grapes.
The strength of our winery is based on our respect of the heritage
handed down to us by the pioneers of the Cave des Clairmonts :
- The friendship and solidarity which unites each
of our families,
- The synergy of
the knowledge,
- The complementarity of the terroirs we exploit.
Together, we display as much energy in the vineyards as in the
storehouse to fulfil our passion for the vineyards and the wine,
and in this way satisfy you.
